The Stracciatella Cannoli

Stracciatella can refer to a Roman soup, a cheese from Puglia, or a gelato flavour that originated in Lombardy, Italy!  So... when the Cannoli Crunch Team was brainstorming new flavours and Stracciatella was suggested... Chef Maria said, "SOUP!  We're not making cannoli soup!"  Lots of laughs all around and we decided to go with the traditional gelato Stracciatella known for its creamy, smooth vanilla flavour with bits of chocolate mixed throughout.  Here you have the Stracciatella Cannoli filled with creamy, smooth ricotta and curls of dark chocolate!  Enjoy!!!
